BOSTON (CBS) --The music, the crowds, the fireworks -- it's not for everyone.
Some people have other ways of celebrating the 4th of July.

It's not jam-packed like the Esplanade. On Castle Island, the crowd is more spread out and it's more serene.
Except for the occasional airplane overhead, there is little noise.
Luis brought his family over from Cambridge for swimming and grilling.
He admits the family had concerns being in Boston.
"After the bombing and all that, I know there is going to be security," he said. "I think we feel safer over here."
One thing Castle Island and the Esplanade have in common -- good luck finding parking anywhere nearby.
