Flower That Smells Like Rotting Flesh About To Bloom At Franklin Park Zoo
BOSTON (CBS) - The Franklin Park Zoo is ready to celebrate an attraction that smells like dead rotting flesh and only shows up once every seven to fifteen years.
The flower, a Titan Arum named Morticia is also known as the corpse flower. Witnessing the towering ten-foot beauty is worth dealing with the odor.

This particular flower is expected to bloom sometime Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
The zoo, which is keeping people updated through Twitter, will extend its hours for viewing if it happens in the evening.
