Kevin Satterfield of Kissimmee was arrested at a Super 8 motel in the town of Opelousas, Louisiana around 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say he surrendered without incident.
Florida police say Satterfield shot and killed his wife and his daughter's boyfriend and also wounded his own daughter, who is pregnant.
Authorities said he told a relative that he was going to Framingham next to take out executives at Cumberland Farms, the company that fired him from a manager's position back in June.
State police in Massachusetts had alerted patrol units about the situation.
