Five Celtics On NBA All-Star Ballot
BOSTON (CBS) – Five Boston Celtics are on the NBA All-Star ballot, which was released on Wednesday.
Guards Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen and forwards Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Brandon Bass each have a chance to be voted in by fans to February's All-Star game.

Allen currently leads the team in scoring with 20 points-per-game, followed by Rondo (16.5), Pierce (14.0), Bass (13.8) and Garnett (12.8). Allen's 22 three-pointers made are tied for the NBA lead with Orlando's Ryan Anderson. His 73-percent shooting from the field is second in the NBA.
Entering Wednesday, Rondo leads the NBA with 63 assists and his 10.5 assist-per-game average is second only to Houston's Kyle Lowrie's 11-per-game average.
Fans will have to write-in center Greg Stiemsma if they want to see him in the exhibition. The Celtics rookie is tied for fourth in the NBA with 12 blocks, averaging three-per-game.

Fans can vote for their favorite NBA Stars at NBA.com. Voting concludes on January 31 with the starters being announced February 2.
The NBA All-Star game will be played at the Amway Center in Orlando on Sunday February 26.
