First Flakes...
Hey all...a big change in the pattern is coming with a serious temperature drop by the end of the week and a very active storm track that will produce three storms. A few showers will pass through tonight with a cool front but sun returns tomorrow with a gusty NW wind. The first of three storms passes on Wednesday, a weak one with areas of light rain.
The second storm of the week will be a little stronger and colder...cold rain breaks out on Thursday and later in the day and evening some of that rain could flip to wet snow...it is even possible that a few flakes mix in for Boston too!
If we don't see flakes with that storm the third storm may be the one to deliver it...over the weekend the largest of the three will arrive on Saturday with heavier cold rain, strong NE winds and potential coastal issues...and like storm two will be tapping cold air so that a changeover will be very possible for a period of wet snow Saturday night and Sunday morning. Nothing is locked in yet but most signs are pointing to a cold and stormy week!
