Fire Damages Four Buildings In Manchester, NH
MANCHESTER, NH (CBS) - Firefighters in Manchester, New Hampshire battled a four-alarm fire on Central Street Monday evening.
Two triple-deckers were heavily damaged and will likely have to be demolished. The fire also spread to two nearby homes.
An off-duty firefighter who helped get people out of the buildings suffered smoke inhalation and was transported to the hospital. There were no other serious injuries.
At least 20 people were displaced by the fire.
Firefighters were still on the scene late Monday night checking for hot spots. There is no word on what started the fire.
