Five Firefighters Injured Battling Triple-Decker Blaze In Dorchester
BOSTON (CBS) - A fire broke out at a three-story apartment building in Dorchester Monday afternoon.
When firefighters arrived, there was heavy fire coming from the roof of the building on Boyd Street. Five firefighters were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Four of the six units in the building were occupied at the time of the fire. A total of nine residents were displaced. The Red Cross is assisting.
The fire was knocked down at 4:10 p.m., just over an hour after crews arrived on scene.
