Fire, Ammonia Leak At NECCO Factory Sends Two Firefighters To Hospital
REVERE (CBS) - A fire inside the NECCO factory in Revere sent two firefighters to the hospital Friday night.
Flames broke out in a machine room. The fire also caused an ammonia leak. Hazmat crews were called in to deal with the leak.
The two injured firefighters were treated for exposure to the ammonia fumes at Mass General Hospital and released.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
