Fine Summer Days

It's going to be a quiet day with clouds in control. There will be thicker cloud cover south of the Mass Pike as a wave of low pressure passes to our south. There will be a slim chance of a sprinkle or shower skimming the South Coast, Cape Cod, and the Islands throughout the morning and afternoon. The farther north that you live, the brighter the sky will be. A modest east-northeast wind will allow interior neighborhoods to climb into the middle and upper 70s while the coastal communities will be in the lower to middle 70s.

The quiet weather pattern will maintain control throughout the weekend.  Saturday and Sunday will be summer beauties!  Saturday's high temps will be near 80F while Sunday will be warmer near the middle 80s.  Cape Cod and the Islands will be cooler in the middle to upper 70s.

A cold front will be approaching the area early next week. There will be a chance of a few storms northwest of Boston on Monday afternoon and evening. The front will bring a chance for storms for the entire viewing area on Tuesday. Then, the heat and humidity will 'relax' in its wake starting on Wednesday.

Here's a link to your beach and boating forecast. We can expect seas to be rougher near Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard today due to the low pressure travelling south of the area.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Happy FRRRiday!
