Fenway Interview Turns Into Engagement Surprise
BOSTON (CBS) – The 100th anniversary celebration at Fenway Park will always be a special day for Red Sox fans and a couple from Washington, DC.
WBZ-TV's Karen Anderson was interviewing Sarah Ridgely and Daniel Sanders outside Fenway Friday morning and when she asked them what makes this day so special, Sanders, with his hands shaking, pulled a ring out of his pocket and bent down on one knee.
He asked Sarah to marry him.
After Ridgely had a moment to compose herself, she said yes.
