Felger To Tim Thomas: 'Let It Go Bro'
BOSTON (CBS) - Mike Felger of the Felger & Massarotti show feels like Tim Thomas is still holding a grudge against the Bruins based on the way he acted Thursday night in his return to Boston.
Everyone knows Tim Thomas didn't leave town on the best of terms. After winning the Stanley Cup in 2011, Thomas was the lone member of the team to skip out on the White House visit to meet President Obama in 2012. He was viewed as selfish and aloof by fans and media alike.
So when the season came to an end after a disappointing first-round playoff loss to the Washington Capitals, he bolted with one year left to go on his contract, announcing to the world on Facebook that he was leaving to focus on "friends, family and faith."
After a year hiatus, Thomas signed with the Florida Panthers before the start of the 2013-14 regular season. Apparently, the goaltender still feels ill-will towards the organization that he helped end a 39-year Stanley Cup drought.

Thursday night was supposed to be a homecoming reunion for Thomas, but leading up to the game the Bruins weren't even sure he'd be visible in the arena, so they had to put their tribute on hold to await confirmation.
It wasn't until a TV timeout in the middle of the third period that Thomas appeared in the rafters on the ninth floor.
Felger just wants Thomas to get over it, whatever the problem he has with the Bruins is.
"Really? Still Tim? Let it go bro. It wasn't that bad. Did you get treated that badly here? It felt like he was sort of ducking the whole thing," said Felger. "He could have played probably - but chose not to. And then he doesn't really come up for his thing until midway through the third period. Come on man."
