Felger & Mazz: The Ongoing Investigation Into Chara's Hit
Felger & Massarotti were joined by Sgt. Ian Lafrenière of the Montreal Police to discuss the investigation into the Zdeno Chara hit on Max Pacioretty.
Sgt. Ian Lafrenière commented on the status of the investigation on Zdeno Chara.
"There have been a lot of rumors especially in Boston that the investigation was over," Sgt. Lafrenière told the pair. "Unfortunately, I'm going to have to tell you this is not accurate."
How long will this investigation last?
Now that these two team are meeting in the playoffs is there a chance that Chara will be questioned while the teams are there? Is there enough evidence to charge Chara?
Sgt. Lafrenière commented on Montreal fans calling 9-1-1, saying "You have to be stupid to use 9-1-1 line to report something like that."
