Felger & Mazz: November 25, 2013
Hour 1
Felger and Massarotti kicked off the week discussing the New England Patriots come from behind 34-31 overtime win against the Denver Broncos. A costly Wes Welker turnover in overtime set up a Patriots field goal for the win. Is Bill Belichick in Peyton Manning's head? Can it be said that Welker isn't a big game player?
In Hour 2, Felger and Mazz talked about Bill Belichick's decision to kick off to the Broncos at the start of overtime. Belichick chose to kick so that the Broncos would have to deal the wind in their faces. At the time, did Belichick make the right call? Stevan Ridley had another fumble last night. Ridley now has four fumbles this season. What should the Pats do with Ridley? How can the NFL fix the pass interference call?
Hour 2
During Hour 3 of the Felger and Massarotti, the guys look at the AFC playoff picture. Are the Patriots and the Broncos, clearly, the two best teams in the AFC? Will the Patriots and Broncos meet again in the AFC Championship? Did Welker choke on the muffed punt in overtime? Mike and Tony continued to discuss Belichick's decision to kick-off to start overtime last night.
Hour 3
In the fourth and final hour, Felger and Mazz continue to go through the takeaways from last night's Patriots 34-31 overtime win over the Broncos. What should the Pats do about Ridley's fumbles? Was Belichick's decision to kick-off to start overtime a slap in the face to Peyton Manning? If Eli Manning was the opposing quarterback, would Belichick have kicked off to him? Finally, it's the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
