Felger & Mazz: November 12, 2013
Felger and Massarotti were joined by Jermaine Wiggins and the guys opened the day talking about the Boston Celtics. The Celtics got their fourth straight victory with a 120-105 win over the Orlando Magic. Expectations for the Celtics aren't very high and some believe that the C's should tank for a high lottery pick. Is the lottery the best way to rebuild?
The guys also discussed the next two New England Patriots games. Monday night the Pats visit the Carolina Panthers. Are the Panthers the toughest opponent this season? After Monday night's game, the Pats welcome the Denver Broncos to Gillette. Today the Houston Texans released 9-time Pro Bowler Ed Reed. Should the Pats consider bringing Reed in?
Hour 1
In Hour 2 of Felger and Mazz, the guys and Jermaine Wiggins take a look at the AFC. Which teams are legitimate contenders? Which teams are the frauds? The guys went on the play this week's edition of 10 Questions with Wiggy. Felger, Mazz, and Wiggy take some calls on the Celtics before the callers get to ask Wiggy some questions to wrap up the hour.
Hour 2
During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, the discussed the Boston Red Sox off-season. The general manager meetings have already begun in Orlando, Florida. What kind of moves should the Sox be looking to make? Finally, the Green Teamers are all over Felger and Mazz for thinking it's best for the Celtics to tank this season. If the Celtics don't tank, what is their plan?
Hour 3
In the fourth and final hour, Felger and Mazz reset some of the topics that they covered today. The Texans have released Ed Reed. Would the Patriots be interested in a player like Reed? If the Celtics aren't tanking, what are their plans? To wrap the day up, we hear the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
