Felger and Massarotti kicked on an Agenda Free Friday discussing the future of the Boston Red Sox. After winning the 2013 World Series, the Sox have a few key players entering free agency. What will this team look like next season? Entering next season, the Sox will have 6 starting pitchers on the roster. If the Sox want to move a starter, who should it be? Jerry Thornton of Barstool Sports joined Mike and Tony to talk some New England Patriots and the World Series champion Red Sox. Finally, the guys discussed the 7-game suspension the NHL handed down to John Scott of the Buffalo Sabres for his head shot on Boston Bruins forward Loui Eriksson. Are 7-games enough?
In Hour 2, Felger and Mazz continue to take calls on an Agenda Free Friday. Patriots play-by-play announcer Bob Socci joined Felger and Massarotti to preview Sunday's Pats game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and play 5 questions. Mike and Tony went on to discuss last night's Thursday Night Football game between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Miami Dolphins. What can the NFL do to improve its Thursday night product?
Hour 2
Chris Gasper of the Boston Globe joined Felger and Massarotti in Hour 3 and the guys discussed the future of Jacoby Ellsbury. Is it a given that Ellsbury will not be returning to Boston? Which of the other Sox free agents should be brought back next season? The guys went on to talks some Boston Celtics. Are the Celtics considering tanking this season? Finally, the guys preview Sunday's Patriots game against the Steelers at Gillette.
Hour 3
In the fourth and final hour of an Agenda Free Friday, Felger and Mazz continue to look at the future of the Red Sox. Has Ellsbury played his last game as a member of the Sox? Should the Sox try to shop one of their starting pitchers in the off-season? Is it fair to question David Ortiz's World Series performance? To wrap up the week, we hear from Mad Mike and Squeaky Mazz in the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
