Felger & Mazz: May 9, 2013
Felger and Massarotti kicked off the day discussing the Boston Bruins 4-3 overtime win over the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 4 last night. The Bruins have a 3-1 series lead going into tomorrow night's Game 5 at the Garden.
Hour 1
In Hour 2, Felger and Mazz continued talk about the Bruins Game 4 win over the Maple Leafs last night. The guys went on to talk some Boston Red Sox. The Sox lost 15-8 to the Minnesota Twins. This is the Sox fifth loss in six games. David Ortiz went 0 for 5 last night putting an end to his 27-game hitting streak.
Hour 2
During the Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, the guys continued to discuss the rest of the NHL playoffs. When is Tyler Seguin going to wake up? David Krejci is having a great post-season for the B's. In four games, Krejci has five goals and ten points. The Red Sox are still having issues with their closer position. Joel Hanrahan was place on the 60-Day disabled list with a forearm injury. Bailey is also on the D.L.. Why have the Sox struggled finding stability in the closer role?
Hour 3
In the fourth and final hour, Felger and Mazz took calls on subject that were covered today. Can the Bruins close out the Maple Leafs tomorrow night? What can the Sox do to fix their closer role? Finally, it's The Final Word with Adam Kaufman.
