Felger & Mazz: March 26, 2014
Felger and Massarotti kicked off the day discussing the Boston Red Sox. Do Red Sox fans have to accept Grady Sizemore as the team's starting center fielder? Mike, Tony, and Marc Bertrand took a break from the sports talk to participate in the 7th annual "Cuts For A Cause." The guys had their heads shaved to support the Shawn Thornton Foundation, the Bruins Foundation, and the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center.
Hour 1
In Hour 2, the guys continued to talk about the Red Sox and the center fielder debate. How will starting Sizemore affect the development of Bradley Jr.? Has Bradley Jr. done enough to earn the starting position? With the all of the off-season moves made by the New York Yankees, is the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry back?
Hour 2
During Hour 3 of the Felger and Massarotti show, Mike and Tony continued to discuss the debate at centerfield for the Sox. If the season started today, which team has the edge? The Red Sox or the Yankees? The guys went on to talk about potential rule changes in the NFL. Only one of the four rule changes presented by the Patriots were approved. The NFL will add 5-feet to the goalposts.
Hour 3
In the fourth and final Hour, Felger and Mazz reset the stories of the day. Are Red Sox fans ready accept that Grady Sizemore could be the Sox starting center fielder on Opening Day? How much of the center field debate has to do with the leadoff position in the lineup? Before the Final Word with Marc Betrand, the guys gave an update on the Boston Celtics and Tankapalooza.
