Tony Massarotti and Marc Bertrand opened the day discussing the Boston Bruins 3-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets last night. Why are the Bruins struggling to hold leads? Hour 1
In Hour 2, Mazz and Bertrand were joined by Boston Bruins radio play-by-play announcer Dave Goucher to discuss the B's current road trip. Mazz and Beetle went on to discuss the potential of a scheduling conflict between the Baltimore Raven and the Baltimore Orioles. The home stadiums of the O's and Ravens share a parking lot and both teams can't play at the same time. On Thursday September 5th, the Ravens would be scheduled for the season-opener at home, but the Orioles are hosting the Chicago White Sox. Should MLB adjust a September game or should the NFL move the home-opener of the Super Bowl Champion Ravens?
Hour 2
To kick of Hour 3, Mazz and Beetle talked some Boston Red Sox and David Ortiz' progress. Yesterday Ortiz hit off a tee and today he took some soft-toss. Why was Ortiz given a 2-year deal? The Red Sox are going to faced with an other issue and that is how to handle Jackie Bradley Jr.. This spring Bradley Jr. is batting .444. Is Bradley Jr. ready to be on the opening day big league roster? The guys went back to discuss the September 5th scheduling issue in Baltimore. Should the NFL or MLB make the adjustment?
Hour 3
In the 4th and final hour, Massarotti and Bertrand went back to the talk about the Boston Bruins and their issues with keeping a lead. Do the Bruins want Tuukka Rask as the goaltender of the future? Is Rask worth $6.5 million a year? Finally, it's the Final Word with Joe Murray.
