Hour 1
It's Agenda Free Friday on the Felger and Massarotti Show and the guys are discussing everything going on the Boston sports world. Tomorrow night the Boston Bruins travel to Chicago to play the Blackhawks in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final. The series is tied at 2-2. The Boston Red Sox may have an issue at closer. Last night Andrew Bailey blew a one-run lead in the 9th to lose 4-3 to the Tigers in Detroit. The guys also discussed the latest news in the Aaron Hernandez homicide saga. ABC News is reporting that an arrest warrant for obstruction of justice is being prepared for Hernandez. Jerry Thornton of Barstool Sports joined Felger and Mazz to talk about all the topics going on in the Boston sports scene. Finally, the guys discussed the end of the NBA season and the Miami Heat's Game 7 victory over the San Antonio Spurs in the Finals.
In Hour 2, Felger and Mazz discuss the latest news surrounding Doc Rivers and his future with the Boston Celtics. Was Doc planning on leaving Boston all along? In Red Sox news, what should they do about the closer situation? Is the answer in-house or should the Sox be looking to make a move to improve the bullpen? Tomorrow night the Bruins are in Chicago to face the Blackhawks for Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final. The Blackhawks let it be known that they are not going to lay down for Zdeno Chara. They are going to go right after Chara. Is that a smart move by the Blackhawks? At Bruins practice today, Carl Soderberg replaced Kaspars Daugavins on the 4th line. What adjustments should be made to get Soderberg in the game?
Hour 2
During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, continued to talk about all the topics in the Boston sports world. The Red Sox closer dilemma, the Doc Rivers Saga, Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final, and the latest news in the Aaron Hernandez homicide story. After blowing another save last night, the Red Sox named Koji Uehara as the teams closer for the time being. Felger washes his hands of the Doc Rivers saga. It was reported again today, that a deal between the Celtics and Clippers is not happening.
Hour 3
In the fourth and final hour of an Agenda Free Friday, Felger and Mazz focused on Game 5 between the Boston Bruins and the Chicago Blackhawks tomorrow night. The series returns to Chicago tied at 2-2. To wrap the week up, we hear from Squeaky Mazz and Mad Mike in the Friday edition of The Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
