Felger & Mazz: July 25, 2013
Hour 1
Tony Massarotti and Dan Shaughnessy are broadcasting from the Ace Ticket Studio at Kenmore and discussing the New England Patriots. Head coach Bill Belichick addressed the media yesterday about Aaron Hernandez and today Tom Brady and Vince Wilfork discussed Hernandez. Are the Patriots concerned about other players that may have visited Hernandez's Franklin flop house? Did Belichick give enough to the media yesterday?
In hour 2, Mazz and Shaughnessy continue to talk about the Patriots first interaction with the media since the Hernandez arrest. Did Tom Brady say enough when he met with the media earlier? The guys changed gears to talk a little Boston Red Sox. The Sox dropped another game to the Tampa Bay Rays last night. David Price threw a complete game last night giving up only one run on a Mike Napoli home run. The Sox hold a 1/2 game lead going into tonight's series finale against the Rays. Could the Red Sox fall apart down the stretch? With the trade deadline around the corner, would the Sox be willing to move an impact player?
Hour 2
During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, Tony and Dan continue to talk some Red Sox. With free agency right around the corner, how much is Jacoby Ellsbury worth on the open market? The Sox have expressed interest in Chicago White Sox pitcher Jake Peavy. What would the Sox have to give up to get a player like Peavy? Would it be worth it to trade Will Middlebrooks for Peavy?
Hour 3
In the fourth and final hour, Tony Massarotti and Dan Shaughnessy got back to the Patriots talk. Today the Patriots captains met with the media. Was it necessary for the Patriots to speak on Aaron Hernandez in order to move on? To wrap the day up, we hear the Final Word with Joe Murray.
