Felger & Mazz: Former Bruins GM Harry Sinden On The Stanley Cup, Bruins History and His Front Office Tenure
Felger and Massarotti were joined Wednesday by former Bruins GM Harry Sinden, who is so excited about the Bruins playoff run that he can't even sit still. After an encouraging showing in Game 7 Friday night, Sinden thinks that the Cup could be coming home to Boston if the Bruins can continue their dominant physical play.
Sinden watched many of the teams he crafted fall short in the playoffs, but feels these Bruins are ready to break through. In light of the recent successes of the Bruin's front office in building this championship team, he discusses his own legacy as general manager, the lingering regrets from his tenure in the front office, and the difficulties of successfully managing an NHL franchise.
Sinden also shares his thoughts on Claude Julien and his coaching system, officiating in the new NHL, and what the present Bruin's renaissance means for the team and the city of Boston.
Every game of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Bruins and Canucks can be heard on 98.5 The Sports Hub with pregame coverage beginning 60 minutes before each game with the Dunkin Donuts Bruins Pregame show.
