Felger & Mazz: Corruption In Sports
Felger and Massarotti continued the day discussing the corruption in sports. In particular, the guys talked about Horse Racing and Boxing.
Last week, "I'll Have Another" was scratched from this past Saturday's Belmont Stakes and missed chance at winning the Triple Crown. Could there have been some illegal practices involving horse and owner?
Next, the guys probed the sport of boxing. Saturday night Manny Pacquiao fought Timothy Bradley. Though most of the public saw Pacquiao easily winning the fight, the judges saw something different. Bradley was announced the winner of by split decision.
Felger and Mazz brought in the Director of Communications, Billy Lanni, to give his two cents on what he saw on fight night. Was the fix in? What would be the benefit of fixing this fight?
How can these sports be taken seriously?
