Felger & Mazz: Cam Neely Says Bruins Are 'Very Happy' With Goaltending Heading Into Trade Deadline
BOSTON (CBS) -- After a week off from chatting with Cam Neely, Felger and Massarotti were joined by the Boston Bruins president on Tuesday afternoon.
The NHL trading deadline is approaching, and the Bruins are likely to make a move or two to help the team. Just don't expect any of those moves to involve Tim Thomas or Tuukka Rask.
When pressed on whether the goalies are off limits, he expressed no desire to trade either goalie.
"We're very happy with our goaltending," Neely said. "We're very happy to have this luxury. We have a young goalie in Tuukka that we look to take over when Tim's career is done.
"They're hard to find," Neely added. "That's why everyone is looking for them."
Neely also discussed Nathan Horton, who remains out with a concussion.
"There's always a concern every time someone has a concussion," Neely said. "I think he's progressing -- maybe not as quickly as we all thought, but he is progressing."
Neely also shared the sting of losing a championship, saying the pain never leaves you.
