Felger & Mazz: Bob Beers Previews Game 4, The Refs, and Tim Thomas' Style
Felger and Massarotti were joined by Boston Bruins color analyst Bob Beers to preview tonight's Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
What kind of officiating will we see tonight? What kind of after the whistle stuff will the refs be keeping their eyes opened for?
Can things go from bad to worse with Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo? Can Luongo rise to the occasion and quiet the critics?
How will the Bruins fill the void left by an injured Nathan Horton? How many options do the Bruins have?
"They have three options," said Beers. "Seguin, Peverley and Michael Ryder. Probably Peverley off the bat. Then depending how the game goes you'll see other guys there. If something isn't working there, you can change guys and go with something else."
Vancouver Canucks head coach Alain Vigneault has had some issue with Tim Thomas' goaltending style. Is there anything illegal about Thomas' style?
"A lot of it is posturing from the Canucks," said Beers. "He wasn't complaining when Thomas came way out in OT in Game 2, was he?"
