Felger & Mazz: August 20, 2013
Hour 1
Felger and Massarotti opened the day going over some of the leftover thoughts from last Friday's New England Patriots 25-21 preseason win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Should Tom Brady have been playing in Friday night's game? Should there be concern with Danny Amendola? How much confidence does Felger have in this year's Patriots team?
In Hour 2, Felger and Mazz quickly addressed MLB's fine and suspension of Boston Red Sox pitcher Ryan Dempster for throwing at Alex Rodriguez Sunday night. Dempster will be fined and suspended for 5-games. Mike and Tony got back into the Patriots and did a little comparison between Danny Amendola and Wes Welker. Should Amendola's past injuries be a worry of the Patriots? Finally, we hear Scott Zolak work on Mazz's back before Tony went on the air today.
Hour 2
During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, the guys broke down the numbers from the New England Sports Survey. What did the fans have to say about the local teams? Felger and Mazz continued by talking some Patriots and Ryan Dempster's 5-game suspension for hitting A-Rod. To wrap up Hour 3, Felger and Mazz go back to the New England Sports Survey to find out who the fans enjoy listening to.
Hour 3
In the fourth and final hour, Felger and Mazz took calls on the topic covered today. How high are the expectations of Patriots this season? Is it time to end the Tim Tebow experiment? Also, Xander Bogaerts makes his long-awaited MLB debut for the Red Sox tonight. To wrap up the Tuesday-edition of Felger and Massarotti, we hear The Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
