Hour 1
Felger and Massarotti opened the day talking about the New England Patriots. Has Bill Belichick's relationship with certain college coaches been the best thing for the Pats? Is it smart to do business with friends? Finally, Mazz is testing out a new product today.
In Hour 2, Felger and Mazz continue to discuss the Pats and Belichick's relationship with college coaches. During training camp, the Patriots have been having a punter competition between Zoltan Mesko and rookie Ryan Allen. Why are they doing this? Shouldn't the Pats be having a kicker competition instead? After the preseason opener, should the Patriots be worried about Ryan Mallett? To wrap up Hour 2, the guys celebrate the 4-year anniversary of the launch of 98.5 The Sports Hub.
Hour 2
During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, the guys talked about the television ratings between preseason Patriots football and Red Sox pennant race games. In the past couple of years, the Pats preseason games have been crushing the Sox games in the ratings. Do the TV ratings reflect the interest, or lack of, in the Red Sox? The Sox ratings are actually slightly down from last season. Why aren't people watching the Sox?
Hour 3
In the fourth and final hour, Felger and Mazz discussed the importance of the Red Sox upcoming series against the Toronto Blue Jays. When the Sox travel out West to play the San Fransisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers, should Ortiz be the starting first baseman? Since it is the 4-year anniversary of start of the Sports Hub, throughout the final hour, we hear some classic Felger and Mazz bits. Finally, it's the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
