Felger & Mazz: April 30, 2013
Felger and Massarotti were joined by Jermaine Wiggins and the guys are discussing the Boston Celtics and their future in the NBA playoffs. Wiggy got to the studio today and was ready to put a couple of people "On Blast." First, Wiggy has an issue with Felger and Mazz' thoughts on the Celtics. Also, Wiggy has a problem with the way Boston Bruins head coach Claude Julien maneuvers his lines. Finally, the guys look back at the mess that was the start of yesterday's show.
Hour 1
In Hour 2 of Felger and Mazz, the guys and Jermaine Wiggins continued to take phone calls on the Celtics playoff run and the start of the playoffs for the Bruins. The guys also played the latest edition of "10 Questions with Wiggy." In Boston Red Sox news, with Joel Hanrahan coming off the DL, does Andrew Bailey deserve to stay the team's closer? To close out another Tuesday with Wiggy, the fans get to ask Jermaine some questions.
Hour 2
During Hour 3, Felger and Massarotti continued to preview the start of the Boston Bruins playoffs series against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The guys looked back at the Phil Kessel trade. The B's traded Kessel in 2009 and the draft picks they received turned into Tyler Seguin and Dougie Hamilton. Boston Bruins President Cam Neely joined Felger and Mazz to talk about the Boston Bruins and the start of the NHL Playoffs. Are the Maple Leafs a good matchup for the Bruins?
Hour 3
In the fourth and final hour of Felger and Mazz, the guys dicussed the Boston Red Sox and their closer. When the season started, Joel Hanrahan was the closer. Hanrahan went on the DL and Andrew Bailey stepped up as the closer. Now that Hanrahan is back, who should be the team's closer? Also, Felger and Mazz continue to talk about Jason Collins and homosexuality in sports. Finally, it's the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
