Felger & Mazz: April 26, 2013
Felger and Massarotti kicked off the day discussing Day One of the NFL Draft. The Patriots were set to have the 29th pick but traded the 29th overall pick to the Vikings for Minnesota's second-round pick (#52), third-round picks (#83), fourth-round pick (#102), and seventh-round pick (#229) in this year's draft.
Was it smart for the Pats to trade out? Jerry Thornton from Barstool Sports joined Felger and Mazz to talk some Patriots and the NFL Draft. Finally, the guys throw more highlighters at the NFL Draft big board!
Hour 1
In Hour 2, the guys continued to talk about the Draft and all the remaining picks the Pats own. Should the Pats go after Tyrann "The Honey Badger" Mathieu? The Boston Bruins defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-0 last night. How important is Milan Lucic's style of play to the Bruins? Is the lack of scoring putting too much pressure on the goaltending? The NHL Playoffs begin on April 30th. Are the Bruins ready for the playoffs?
Hour 2
During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, the guys were joined by Chris Gasper of the Boston Globe to discuss the Patriots and the NFL Draft. How did the rest of the AFC East do in last night's draft? Tonight the Boston Celtics take on the New York Knicks in Game 3 at the Garden. Is Doc Rivers being out-coached by Mike Woodson? Does Rivers deserve some of the blame for the first two loses in the series? Is the loss of Rajon Rondo finally hurting the Celtics?
Hour 3
In the fourth and final hour, Felger and Mazz went Agenda Free and left it up to the callers to discuss whatever they want. Finally, Squeaky Mazz and Mad Mike make their return to The Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
