Felger & Mazz: April 1, 2014
Felger and Massarotti were joined by Jermaine Wiggins and the guys opened the day discussing the Boston Red Sox and Jackie Bradley Jr. Does Bradley Jr. have the confidence to be a full-time Major Leaguer? Did the Philadelphia Eagles release DeSean Jackson because of his salary or his alleged connections to Los Angeles gangs? Did a bad relationship with head coach Chip Kelly force the release of Jackson? What kind of shape is Vince Wilfork in? Finally, the guys get into the Boston Celtics, Tankapalooza, and Rajon Rondo's debut as a television color analyst.
Hour 1
In Hour 2 of Felger and Mazz, the guys and Wiggy continued to discuss the alleged gang connections of DeSean Jackson and how that may affect his future in the NFL. Felger, Mazz, and Jermaine go on to play this week's edition of 10 Questions with Wiggy. Before letting the listeners as Wiggy some questions, the guys get back to taking calls on the New England Patriots defense and DeSean Jackson.
Hour 2
During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, Mike and Tony got back into the Red Sox and Jackie Bradley Jr. Are the Sox hurting Bradley Jr.'s development? The guys also look back at some of John Farrell's managerial decisions in yesterday's 2-1 loss to the Baltimore Orioles. Is there a fourth outfielder in baseball with a higher opinion of themselves than Jonny Gomes? Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun returned to baseball after his 65-game PED suspension and received an ovation from the Milwaukee fans. Is Braun boo-worthy? To wrap up the hour, Felger and Mazz look back at the Red Sox visit to the White House this afternoon.
Hour 3
In the fourth and final Hour, Felger and Mazz talk about the Red Sox debut of Grady Sizemore. Sizemore went 2 for 4 with a home run in the Sox season opening 2-1 loss the Orioles. Should Sizemore be hitting at the top of order? The guys replay this past week's Squeaky Mazz on Grady Sizemore. Finally, we hear the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
