Felger & Mazz: April 1, 2013
Felger and Massarotti opened the day discussing the Boston Bruins and the competition at the goaltending position. Do the Bruins have bigger issues than who should be starting in net? Just as the Pittsburgh Penguins acquire Jarome Igninla, they lose Sidney Crosby indefinitely with a broken jaw. Is that hockey karma? The NHL Trade Deadline is Wednesday at 3pm. Do the Bruins have anything in the works? Felger and Mazz went on to talk about the war of words between Danny Ainge and Pat Riley.
Hour 1
In Hour 2, the guys continued to talk a little Boston Celtics and their playoff seeding. What seed will give the C's the best chance to make a run at a championship? Also, the guys talked some New England Patriots and the expectations of the NFL Draft. What areas should the Pats be looking at in the Draft? Tony Massarotti and Marc "The Beetle" Bertrand have their heads shaved on the air for Cuts For A Cause in benefit of the Shawn Thornton Foundation, Boston Bruins Foundation, and Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center.
Hour 2
During Hour 3 of Felger and Massarotti, the guys discussed the Boston Bruins and Wednesday's NHL Trade Deadline. Do the Bruins need to make a definitive move to shake things up? Today on was Opening Day for the Boston Red Sox. The Sox opened the season in Yankee Stadium, and beat the Bronx Bombers 8-2. Jackie Bradley Jr. went 0-for-2 with 2-runs scored, 3 walks, and an RBI in his major league debut. Can the Red Sox contend for a playoff spot this year?
Hour 3
In the fourth and final hour, it's an Agenda Free Hour. Felger and Massarotti took calls on all topics today including the Bruins, the Sox Opening Day win, and Kevin Ware of Louisville's injury. Also, it's the Final Word with Marc Bertrand.
