Federal Officials Come To Boston To Launch Start-Up Initiative
BOSTON (CBS) -- Top officials from the Obama Administration were here in Boston Tuesday, listening to small business owners on ways to speed-up business growth.
SBA Administrator Karen Mills was joined by Energy Secretary Steven Chu, FDA Administrator Peggy Hamburg, and others to listen to ideas from entrepreneurs on how to cut barriers, streamline regulations and build a better environment for innovation.
Secretary Chu says one program will allow start-up companies access to groundbreaking technologies for just a $1,000 fee.
