BOSTON (CBS) - The new CBS Local "YourDay" iPad App gives you all you need to get through the day.
Here's some of the features:
- Make a quick check on your day's weather.
- Watch a live view of traffic.
- Listen live to WBZ NewsRadio 1030 or 98.5 The Sports Hub.
"YourDay" gives users interactive, easy-to-view access.
CNET's Sree Sreenivasan is always scouring the internet for separate sites about news, weather, traffic, entertainment, and sports.
Now, Sreenivasan has the CBS Local Digital Media app, which he can customize to prominently feature the sections most important to him.
"One of the things we end up doing a lot is searching around the web," said Sreenivasan. "The idea that with one click you can get to your radio station is terrific."
The app isn't just for Boston. You can select your city and gain access to local news, weather, traffic and sports in your favorite city.
"You can pull up LA – there's a drop down menu," Sreenivasan said. "I can choose my city. You can also go in there and catch up with the overnight sports… plan out your day."
Sreenivasan said one of his favorite features is the click that will find you hot discounts at the coolest places.
"Local offers, you can check that out, if you want to get a deal," said Sreenivasan.
