FBI Will Investigate Murder Of Molly Bish
BOSTON (CBS) - The FBI is now involved in the investigation to solve the 12-year old kidnapping and murder of Molly Bish.
The 16-year old lifeguard vanished from Comins Pond in Warren in June of 2000.
Although there have been several persons of interest over the years, her killer has never been found. Now, the FBI's behavioral analysis unit will take a fresh look at all the evidence gathered in the case.
Earlier this month, Heather Bish sent a letter to the Worcester County District Attorney requesting that his office allow the FBI to help. "The hope is that they will provide more information of why this happened to Molly," said Heather. "We still don't know why this happened or how this happened and we're never going to give up on it."
Investigators will meet with the Bish family next week.
