FBI On Hunt For Serial Bank Robber

BOSTON (CBS) -- The FBI is asking for the public's help in finding a serial bank robber.

Investigators say in the past month the same man robbed banks in Reading, Everett, Lynnfield, Salem and Melrose.

In each of the robberies the suspect gave a written note to a teller demanding money. Once he got the money he would flee on foot.

The suspect is between 25 and 30 years old, between 5 feet and 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches and weighs about 150 to 170 pounds.

He has brown hair, is unshaven and in some cases had a goatee. He also has a tattoo in cursive writing on the right side of his neck.

The FBI and Massachusetts Bankers Association Tip Program are offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to this man's arrest.

Anyone with information can call the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force at 617-742-5533.
