Fantasy Football Brief: Week 5 Pickups
BOSTON (CBS) -- Fantasy football owners are now dealing with bye weeks, leaving some scrambling to fill some key spots on their roster.
No worries though, as Rich Keefe has you covered. With the Dolphins, Vikings, Jets and Panthers all on a bye, Keefe brings you five players to help fill the void on your roster:
1. Ronnie Hillman, RB, Denver Broncos
Hillman split carries with C.J. Anderson last week, something Gary Kubiak said would continue this weekend against the Raiders. Keefe says Hillman is a better pass-catcher than Anderson, and is available in most leagues.
2. Leonard Hankerson, WR, Atlanta Falcons
Hankerson has 17 receptions off 28 targets so far this season, including a pair of touchdowns over the last three weeks.
3. Allen Hurns, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Hurns had 15 targets last Sunday against Indianapolis and finished with 11 catches and a touchdown. Quarterback Blake Bortles and Hurns had a good report last season, and the Jags will likely be throwing a lot against Tampa Bay.
4. Tavon Austin, WR, St. Louis Rams
Austin had six catches and a pair of touchdowns last Sunday, and is also a factor on special teams as a return man.
5. Owen Daniels, TE, Broncos
Oakland has been horrible against opposing tight ends this season, and Daniels has a touchdown in each of the last two weeks.
