Fan Runs Onto Field, Flips Off Red Sox In Baltimore
BOSTON (CBS) – How bad has September been for the Red Sox?
A fan jumped out of the stands at Camden Yards in Baltimore Monday night, ran onto the field and flipped off the entire Red Sox dugout.
"The cops just stood there and let him do it," Boston Globe Red Sox beat writer Peter Abraham told Toucher and Rich Tuesday on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
"Then he ran around the outfield for a while and then he climbed in the stands, climbed back out of the stands and ran around the outfield for awhile and nobody did anything."
"The thing that was funny about it was it was just 'Well that's just part of September for the Red Sox.' That's what happens, (you) run out of the stands and flip off the entire dugout."
