Families Make Pilgrimage To Plymouth On Thanksgiving
PLYMOUTH (CBS) - Thanksgiving is a time to be with family, and many families decide they should make a pilgrimage to where it all began.
They could be home by the fire, watching football, or digesting their dinner but many people came to Plymouth on Thanksgiving for a sense of history.
"It was a good opportunity to see some of the historical sites and teach our children about the Pilgrims," said one woman from Los Angeles.

A woman from Newton came to see Plymouth Rock before heading elsewhere in town for dinner.
"We have a thousand and one things to do before you die book, and having Thanksgiving dinner at Plimoth Plantation is one of the items in that book," she says.
