Families retraced the steps of Mr. & Mrs. Mallard and their eight ducklings.
Scott from Washington, DC brought his 3-year-old daughter.
"We've been reading the Make Way For Ducklings book, and we thought we'd come back here for Mother's Day, and celebrate Mother's Day and Make Way For Duckling Parade," said Scott.
Katie Alworth brought her two kids to the parade.
"First time ever doing it, and we've been wanting to take part in the Boston tradition of it all," said Katie.
She added that she's reliving her childhood through her children's eyes.
"We grew up reading the Make Way For Duckling story, so it's very Boston, and it just is great for all generations," said Katie.
