Fallen Worcester Firefighter's Family Speaks Out
WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — The family of a Worcester firefighter killed as he searched for someone missing in an apartment fire says it supports the decisions made that day.
The brother, sons and mother of 43-year-old Jon Davies spoke publicly Tuesday. Davies' brother, Rob, said they "have no doubt in our minds" that supervisors made the best decisions with the information they had.
Davies was killed and a colleague injured when the structure collapsed on them Thursday.
