Fall River Police Seek Gunman In Fatal Shooting
FALL RIVER (CBS) – Police are searching for a gunman who shot and killed a man Friday in Fall River.
The Bristol County District Attorney's office said police were called to a report of gunshots just before 8 p.m. Friday night.
When they arrived, they found 20-year-old Anthony Carvalho in the road near Osborne and Ridge Streets.
Carvalho was rushed to St. Anne's Hospital, but pronounced dead just before 9 p.m.
Police are still looking for the shooter, calling the investigation "extremely active and ongoing."
