BOSTON (CBS) - Here are a few quick facts about the earthquake felt around New England Tuesday afternoon from researchers at the Weston Observatory:
- The quake hit at 1:51 p.m.
- Downgraded to 5.8 magnitude
- First aftershock registered at 2:46 p.m. at 2.8 magnitude
- We could feel between 3 and 4 aftershocks
- Observatory got 500 calls within the first 15 minutes of the quake.
- An earthquake is felt in Boston every 3-to-5 years
