Vigil To Remember Massachusetts Teen Killed In Attack In Israel
SHARON (CBS/AP) — A Massachusetts teenager killed in an attack in Israel earlier this month is being remembered with a candlelight vigil.
Family and friends came together to remember Ezra Schwartz at Lake Massapoag in Sharon.
Schwartz was one of three people killed Nov. 19 by a Palestinian motorist who intentionally rammed his vehicle into a group of pedestrians in a West Bank area south of Jerusalem.
The 18-year-old Sharon resident graduated earlier this year from Maimonides School in Brookline.
He was in Israel for pre-college "gap year" studies and had been among a group of volunteers delivering food to Israeli soldiers at the time he was killed.
