'Priceless' Pillow Stolen From New Hampshire Woman's Mailbox
EPPING, N.H. (CBS) – A New Hampshire woman is asking whoever stole her mail to return the packages with no questions asked as she hopes to retrieve a "priceless" gift made for her mother.
Jude David's father Jerry died in August after battling cancer.
To help her mother Sheryl cope with the loss of her husband, Jude ordered a pillow that was made from one of Jerry's flannel shirts.
The pillow had stitched on it "Sheryl, this is a shirt I used to wear. Whenever you hold it know I am there."
But when the pillow arrived in the mail on Dec. 4, it was stolen, along with all the other items in Jude's mailbox.
"That's irreplaceable. It's priceless," Jude told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Bernice Corpuz.
Now Jude is asking whoever took the pillow to return it, no questions asked.
"It's not worth anything. But to our family, it's priceless," Jude said.
