Ellsbury (Foot) Out Of Red Sox Lineup Friday Against Yankees
BOSTON (CBS) - The Red Sox will be without lead-off man Jacoby Ellsbury Friday night when they continue their four-game set with the Yankees in New York.
Ellsbury will sit for the second time in the last four games, though according to The Boston Globe's Peter Abraham, it's not for the sore hand/thumb that kept Ellsbury out earlier in the week.

According to Abraham, Ellsbury is out with a foot injury. Ellsbury went 3-for-6 in Boston's 9-8 extra inning win on Thursday, scoring the game-winning run on a Shane Victorino RBI single. The Sox center fielder stumbled a bit rounding third, though it's not clear if that is when he suffered the latest ailment.
Victorino will lead off and play center for the Red Sox, with Jonny Gomes batting second and playing left and Daniel Nava taking over in right.
