Edelman, Hightower Out, Hernandez Likely In Against Seahawks
BOSTON (CBS) -- After a week of speculation, it appears as though Aaron Hernandez will indeed suit up for the Patriots in Seattle on Sunday afternoon.
The Boston Globe's Greg Bedard reported this weekend that Hernandez made the trip with the team across the country and that he is likely to play for the first time since injuring his ankle in Week 2.
With Hernandez working his way back into the offense after a month off, and with the Patriots in a noisy environment on the road, Bedard reports that Hernandez is likely to have a limited role in his return.
In other personnel news, the Patriots downgraded receiver Julian Edelman and linebacker Dont'a Hightower to out. Edelman has not played since injuring his hand against Baltimore in Week 3, while Hightower injured his hamstring against the Bills two weeks ago.
Safety Steve Gregory and Tracy White were already ruled out on Friday's injury report.
