Ed Olczyk On Felger & Mazz: What Bruins Should Expect From Blackhawks
With the stage set for the Stanley Cup Final, color commentator Ed Olczyk joined Felger and Massarotti to discuss what he expects in the upcoming series.
"The Blackhawks can defend way better than the Pittsbugh Penguins, and that's a real key," Olcyzk said of what the Bruins can expect. "So the Bruins aren't going to have the puck as much as they had it in the Pittsburgh series."
Olczyk also said the series might come down to which team can get its anemic power play going.
"I'm going to say the first team that gets a power-play goal," Olcyzk said. "I'm serious. Which team is going to be able to make an in-game adjustment, which team is going to have the ability to enter the zone?
"[The power play issues are] no different here in Chicago. They've really had a difficult time on the power play. A lot of it has to do with the entries, how they get into the zone. ... To me it's which power play can get hot. And maybe 'hot' for both of these teams is one power-play goal. Maybe that's all it is."
Olcyzk also discussed Joel Quenneville's coaching style, the importance of faceoffs his series, how he expects the matchups to play out and much more.
