NASA shared photos taken from the International Space Station Saturday of the storm that's blanketing the eastern seaboard.
At one point, the storm system stretched all the way from Florida to New England.
Astronaut Scott Kelly tweeted a picture that appeared to show thundersnow over the mid-Atlantic region.
A foot of snow or more could fall on Cape Cod and the Islands, while areas north of the Mass Pike are expected to see very little accumulation.
