Second Sinkhole Opens Up In East Boston
BOSTON (CBS) -- A second sinkhole popped up in East Boston overnight, causing more trouble for residents Tuesday morning.
The sinkholes were spurred a 10-inch water main break on Cottage Street on Monday evening, which flooded some homes and cars.
Photos taken by Boston firefighters showed a car that had to be pulled out of the initial sinkhole.
There was still lots of repair work to be done on Tuesday, and water and gas service was shut off for some Cottage Street residents.
