Earl Of Sandwich Opening New, Tiny Shop In Boston
BOSTON (CBS) -- A former men's restroom on Boston Common won't be transformed into a sandwich shop for about a year. That word from the founder of "Earl of Sandwich," Robert Earl, who submitted the winning bid to takeover the tiny 660 square foot structure known as the Pink Palace. It's located near the men's tennis courts on the Common, and it's been vacant for decades.
So what does Earl think of the tiny building? He thinks it's "a fabulous location!"
WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Anthony Silva spoke with Earl about how he found out about the availability and when it will open.
