Duxbury Police Looking For Man Who Allegedly Approached Young Girl

DUXBURY (CBS) --- Police are looking for more information about a man who allegedly approached a young girl.

It happened Saturday afternoon while the girl was walking her dog on Washington Street.

The man allegedly pulled up in his car and started asking her about the dog.

The girl ran home and the man drove away toward Hall's Corner.

Police say the man did not try to grab the girl or get her into her car.

Police are looking for an older model maroon American-make sedan with rust on the fenders and rear bumper.

The man is described as a tall white man around 30-to-35 years old. He was wearing a gray hoodie with a Washington Redskins logo.

Duxbury Police say they want to find the man so they can determine if it was a criminal incident or just an "odd occurrence."
